Solutionreach review

Solutionreach is Solutionreach, Inc.’s patient engagement platform that sends appointment reminders, recall messages and two-way texts from data it pulls from your practice management software (PMS) or EHR. It serves dental, eye care and medical practices alike, prices are on request, and the vendor’s pricing page says it offers yearly contracts (checked October 21, 2026).

Quick verdict

Solutionreach suits a practice that wants reminders, confirmations, recall and patient texting to run from its PMS, with optional extras like payments, digital intake and an AI receptionist. Many Capterra reviewers praise the reminders, the texting and the phone time it saves. Many also complain about support, sync problems with the PMS, glitches, price, and contract or billing disputes.

Two things should shape how you read the reviews. Most of the sample was written in 2017 and 2018, and reviews from 2023 on are rougher. And Solutionreach serves many specialties: many reviews come from dental offices, but most reviewers show no dental context. Before you sign, get the contract length, renewal date and cancellation terms in writing, ask for a BAA, and ask how the sync works with your PMS.

Solutionreach at a glance

Sold to dental, eye care and medical practices, Solutionreach is a reminders and texting platform with four packages and no public prices, no FDA listing under the vendor’s name, and HIPAA statements but no BAA mention on its saved pages. Capterra shows a 3.8 out of 5 rating from 236 reviews, checked October 21, 2026.

What is Solutionreach?

Day to day, Solutionreach reads your schedule and patient list from your PMS or EHR, then contacts patients by text, email or voice to remind, confirm, recall and bill them. The vendor says it integrates with 400+ PM/EHR systems and that implementation takes under a week, depending on your PMS.

The company says it “created the patient retention and engagement market in 2000” and lists 20+ years in the industry, 50k+ practices served and “1 in 4 Americans reached”. Its home page also claims 2x appointments and patient leads, under 30 minutes a day on recall and $120,000 in revenue from recall, all marked with an asterisk; the footnote says results “are not guaranteed” and may vary. The practices page says you can “Invest $1 and get $9 back”. We couldn’t check any of these figures.

Dentists are one audience among others. The vendor’s menus split its customers into Dental, Eye Care and Medical, plus DSOs, vision groups and hospitals. The one feature its pricing page marks “(Dental Only)” is insurance eligibility. A few of the customer quotes on its pages come from dental offices, including Citrus Heights Dental and Capital Periodontal.

Solutionreach vs. what a patient communication tool should have

Solutionreach’s pages list every Must have item on our patient communication checklist except a BAA, and they add an AI receptionist, a phone system and a staff app. The weak spots are in the reviews: support, sync reliability and contracts. Public pricing and cancellation terms are missing.

FDA status and privacy

Solutionreach has no FDA listing under the vendor’s name: we searched the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases on October 21, 2026 and found none. On privacy, the vendor calls its automated communications HIPAA-compliant, but none of the saved pages mentions a business associate agreement (BAA).

Our FDA search covered openFDA’s 510(k) and PMA device databases and looked for Solutionreach as applicant (510(k) and PMA) and as device name (510(k)). The vendor’s pages don’t mention the FDA.

The home page says “HIPAA-compliant automated communications” reduce admin work, and the pricing page describes Secure Documents as part of “one HIPAA-compliant platform”. Every saved page has a footer link to a page the vendor calls HIPAA Compliance, but that page isn’t among the pages we saved. No SOC 2 or HITRUST report appears in our data. Ask the vendor for its BAA and security documents before you connect patient data.

Pricing

Solutionreach pricing is on request (checked October 21, 2026). The pricing page names four packages, Patient Connect, Practice Efficiency, Practice Growth and Enterprise (6+ locations), with a “Request a Quote” or “Get in Touch” button for each and no prices.

Monthly SMS allowances do appear in the package chart: 1,750 messages for Patient Connect, 3,500 for Practice Efficiency, 4,500 for Practice Growth and a tailored number for Enterprise. Newsletters and patient surveys come in a Basic version in Patient Connect and a Pro version in the other three. Some features are marked as add-ons, but the saved page text doesn’t show which ones.

On terms, the pricing FAQ says the company offers yearly contract options, and that you don’t have to switch phone systems to use Solutionreach. Contracts and fees draw some of the harshest reviews. Several reviewers say new features or add-ons cost extra on top of the monthly fee, and several describe auto-renewal. Get the monthly cost, the message allowance, any per-message charges, the term and the renewal date in writing.

Pros (from user reviews)

Capterra reviewers mostly praise Solutionreach’s automated reminders, its two-way texting, how easy it is to use and the phone time it saves. Most of these reviews were written in 2017 and 2018, and most show no dental context.

  • Many praise the automated appointment reminders and confirmations, and several dental reviewers say the same. Several say no-shows went down.
  • Many like texting with patients. Several say patients would rather answer a text than a call, and a few like that texts come from the office number.
  • Many call Solutionreach easy to use or navigate, including several dental reviewers.
  • Many say it saves staff time on confirmation and recall calls. Most of the reviewers who say this show no dental context. One reviewer at a physician practice wrote in September 2019 that it let the practice cut 0.5 FTE.
  • Many praise the newsletters, group messages and campaigns, and several use mass texts for closures, bad weather or last-minute openings.
  • Support gets praise from many reviewers, though most of that praise was written between 2017 and 2019.
  • Recall gets praise from several reviewers for bringing back overdue patients, and several like being able to customize messages and settings.
  • Several say it works well with their PMS or EHR. Two name Eaglesoft, and one dental reviewer wrote in January 2022 that SR Intake writes into Eaglesoft but not into the office’s vision PMS.
  • Review invitations and online reviews come up as a plus for several, several praise the forms, intake or check-in, and several like online self-scheduling.

Cons (from user reviews)

Capterra reviewers’ main complaints about Solutionreach are support, sync problems with the PMS, glitches, price and contracts. In reviews written from 2020 on, complaints about support far outnumber praise.

  • Many say support was slow, hard to reach or unhelpful, including several dental reviewers. Several say they could only reach support by chat or email, with no phone number to call.
  • Many describe sync or integration problems with their PMS or EHR, including several dental reviewers. Several say the sync stopped and had to be checked or reset, and a few say it only ran every few hours. Two dental offices describe trouble with Dentrix: one wrote in February 2024 that the insurance verification add-on it bought wasn’t compatible with Dentrix unless staff edited every patient in Solutionreach.
  • Many report glitches or outages, or reminders that didn’t go out. A few say reminders stopped for weeks; one reviewer wrote in April 2021 that the sync was down 14 days in March and 19 days in April. Most of these reviewers show no dental context.
  • Many call it expensive, and several say new features or add-ons cost extra on top of the monthly fee. A few say the price went up.
  • Many describe contract, cancellation or billing disputes. Several name auto-renewal, a few name a two-year contract, and a few say they kept being billed after they stopped using the service or tried to leave. Sales staff promised more than the product delivered, according to several.
  • Several say reminders went out wrong, out of date or too often. One dental office wrote in May 2017 that patients went to the wrong location because reminders didn’t make the office clear, and another in October 2018 that one appointment’s reminders went to every phone number in the family.
  • Setup and the learning curve were hard going for several.
  • Text character limits bother several, including two dental reviewers; one wrote in January 2023 that texts were limited to about 65 characters.
  • A few say the newsletter editor was slow or hard to use, and one reviewer wrote in February 2022 that the office lost 50+ five-star reviews collected through the software after it left.

About two in three reviews in the sample give 4 or 5 stars, but fewer than half of those written since 2023 do. A few reviewers left Solutionreach for Weave, and a few came to it from Weave.

Who it’s for

Solutionreach fits a practice, dental or not, that wants reminders, recall, texting and payment requests in one platform tied to its PMS, and that is comfortable signing a yearly contract. If you run several locations, the vendor lists location management and an Enterprise package for 6+ locations.

If you’re a dental office, weigh the dental reviews more heavily. Many reviews come from dental offices, but most of the sample shows no dental context, and the dental reviewers raise the same split: several praise the reminders and ease of use, and several report support and sync problems. Ask for a demo with your own PMS, ask what writes back to it and how often the sync runs, and read the renewal clause before you sign. If you want month-to-month terms or a published price, the saved pages don’t offer either.

FAQ

How much does Solutionreach cost?

Pricing on request. Solutionreach’s pricing page names four packages and their monthly SMS allowances (1,750, 3,500 and 4,500 messages, and a tailored number for Enterprise) but shows no prices (checked October 21, 2026). Many Capterra reviewers call it expensive, so ask for a written quote that lists every add-on.

Does Solutionreach require a contract?

Yes, the vendor says it offers yearly contract options. Its saved pages don’t give cancellation terms. Many Capterra reviewers describe contract, renewal or billing disputes, and several mention auto-renewal, so check the renewal date and notice period before you sign.

Does Solutionreach work with Dentrix or Eaglesoft?

The vendor says Solutionreach integrates with 400+ practice management and EHR systems, but its saved pages don’t name them. Two Capterra reviewers name Eaglesoft as working with it, two dental reviewers report Eaglesoft lag or slow updates, and two dental offices describe problems with Dentrix. Ask the vendor to confirm your PMS and what data writes back.

Does Solutionreach sign a BAA?

The saved pages don’t say. The vendor calls its automated communications HIPAA-compliant and links to a HIPAA Compliance page we didn’t save. Ask for the BAA in writing before you connect patient data.

What does the Solutionreach AI Receptionist do?

Stella is the vendor’s name for its AI Receptionist, which it describes as an “AI-powered voicemail replacement”. The vendor says it answers calls through your existing phone system, finds open times and books appointments in real time, after hours and at peak call times. None of the Capterra reviews in our sample mentions it.

Is Solutionreach FDA cleared?

No FDA listing was found under Solutionreach’s name in the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases, searched October 21, 2026. The vendor’s saved pages don’t mention the FDA.

How this review was put together

We didn’t use Solutionreach ourselves. This review is built from five Solutionreach pages (home, pricing, practices, office operations and solutions overview), a search of the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases, and 200 of the 236 Capterra reviews, taken in Capterra’s default order and written between February 24, 2017 and March 27, 2026. Many reviews in the sample were incentivized, according to Capterra’s labels. Many of the sampled reviews come from dental offices, but most show no dental context, so we note where a theme comes mostly from non-dental reviewers. We counted review themes only where a review states the point. All sources were checked on October 21, 2026.
