Vyne Dental is a dental clearinghouse and software company whose Vyne Trellis platform handles electronic claims and attachments, eligibility checks, patient payments and patient messaging for dental practices. Before you sign, know that Vyne Dental publishes no price and that its saved pages say nothing about HIPAA or a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for its own services.
Quick verdict
Vyne Dental suits a practice that wants claims, attachments, eligibility checks and patient payments from one vendor that also runs its own dental clearinghouse. Its pages list a wide set of front office features, from batch and real-time eligibility to electronic remittance advice. They don’t name a single practice management system (PMS), don’t publish prices and don’t describe a BAA.
Bring your own questions to the demo call. Which PMS does Vyne Trellis connect to, and what writes back? Which payers does the clearinghouse reach directly? What does it cost per month or per claim, and how long is the contract? Will Vyne Dental sign a BAA, and can you see it before patient data moves? We found no independent user reviews in our data, so nothing here comes from people who use Vyne Dental day to day.

What is Vyne Dental?
Vyne Dental is a company that moves dental insurance information between practices, payers and software partners. It sells three things, according to its home page: a clearinghouse, revenue cycle software for practices called Vyne Trellis, and APIs that other dental software can build on.
For practices, the home page says Vyne Trellis handles “all of your revenue cycle needs in one place, from appointment scheduling and eligibility checks to claim submission and patient payments,” with automations and direct connections through Vyne Dental’s clearinghouse. The tagline across the top of the page names five areas: claims, attachments, eligibility and benefits, payments and engagement. The vendor also calls Trellis “the dental profession’s only full revenue cycle acceleration platform”; that is Vyne Dental’s own claim, and we have nothing to test it against.
For insurers, Vyne Dental runs clearinghouse services for insurance companies, dental plans, self-insured employers and third-party administrators. For software companies, its partners page describes eligibility and benefits APIs (it names Vyne ClearCoverage and the Onederful API), attachments APIs and a claims connection. The partners page says the company “pioneered dental electronic attachments as NEA 30+ years ago.” The site footer links to FastAttach® registration and FastAttach® Web, a Payer Web login and Vyne Trellis®, and to Vyne Corp, Vyne Medical and rPractice. The copyright line reads Napa EA/MEDX LLC.
Vyne Dental says it is trusted by over 84,000 dental offices nationwide. The home page also shows counters for attachments processed, patient communications sent and a claim acceptance rate, but our saved copy of the page captured those counters as zero, so we have no figures to report from them.
Key features
Vyne Dental’s main features, as its home page lists them under Vyne Trellis, cover claims and attachments, eligibility, payments and a set of patient communication tools. The vendor’s list, with details from its home and partners pages:
- Electronic Claims & Attachments: claim submission through Vyne Dental’s own clearinghouse connections
- Batch and Real-Time Eligibility: eligibility checks one patient at a time or in batches
- Claim Denial Support and Electronic Remittance Advice: help with denied claims and electronic payment explanations from payers (the saved pages name these features without describing them)
- Payments: patient payments, including what customer quotes on the home page call mobile payments and a payment portal
- Electronic Patient Forms: new patient forms sent by text or email, per a customer quote on the home page
- Patient Text and Email Reminders, Online Scheduling, Campaigns and Online Reviews
- Secure Email, Live Webchat, Dental Team Chat and Clinical Case Collaboration
- APIs for partners: eligibility and benefits in real time, attachments and a claims connection
- Vyne Dental Plans: membership plans for uninsured and self-pay patients, offered with Subscribili; the home page lists it as “Get Early Access”
Vyne Dental vs. what an insurance and billing tool should have
Vyne Dental’s pages list real-time eligibility, claims and attachments, and an API. Benefit detail, payer coverage, verification ahead of appointments and support are partial, because the saved pages don’t list benefit fields or payers or say when batch checks run. PMS write-back, BAA information, cost estimates, pricing and contract terms are not listed.

FDA status and privacy
Vyne Dental has no FDA listing under the vendor’s name: we searched the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases on October 19, 2026 and found none. Vyne Dental’s saved pages don’t mention HIPAA or a BAA for its own services, and its privacy policy is about information collected through the website, phone, chat and support.
The FDA search used openFDA’s 510(k) and PMA device databases, with Vyne Dental as the applicant name and, for 510(k), the device name. Nowhere do the saved pages mention the FDA.
The privacy policy, last updated July 16th, 2020 according to the page, covers names and business contact details you give through the contact form, chat, phone or email, plus cookies, pixels and Google Analytics. It says Vyne Dental doesn’t rent or sell that information, that it maintains “reasonable and appropriate safeguards,” and that the site doesn’t respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. It says nothing about patient health information processed through Vyne Trellis or the clearinghouse.
The only HIPAA statement in the saved pages belongs to Subscribili, the membership plan company on the Vyne Dental Plans page, which says it is “100% HIPAA & PCI Compliant.” That is Subscribili’s claim about its own platform, not a statement by Vyne Dental. No SOC 2 report or other certification is in the pages we saved. Ask Vyne Dental for its BAA and its security documents before you connect patient data.
Pricing
Pricing on request. None of Vyne Dental’s saved pages list a price; they ask you to schedule a demo or call (checked October 19, 2026).
When you ask for a quote, ask whether claims and attachments are billed per transaction or as a flat monthly fee, which Trellis features are included, and how long the contract runs.
Who it’s for
Vyne Dental fits a practice that sends a lot of claims with attachments and wants eligibility checks, patient payments and reminders from the same vendor that runs the clearinghouse. Its partners page also courts dental software companies, DSOs, resellers and referral partners, so a practice may meet Vyne Dental’s connections inside another product.
If you need a published price, a named integration with your PMS, or a BAA you can read before the sales call, look elsewhere or press Vyne Dental on those points first. Patient cost estimates aren’t on the saved pages either. And if you rely on independent reviews before you buy, our data has none for Vyne Dental, only the customer quotes the vendor chose to show.
FAQ
Is Vyne Dental a clearinghouse?
Yes. Vyne Dental’s home page describes its clearinghouse, provider software and APIs, and its partners page calls it “one of the nation’s top dental clearinghouses.” Vyne Trellis, its software for practices, sends claims through those direct connections.
How much does Vyne Dental cost?
Pricing on request. None of Vyne Dental’s saved pages list a price as of October 19, 2026; they ask you to schedule a demo. Ask how claims and attachments are billed and how long the contract runs.
Does Vyne Dental work with my practice management software?
The saved Vyne Dental pages don’t name any PMS. They describe direct connections through the clearinghouse and APIs for software companies, and the Subscribili plans page lists Vyne Trellis as one of the systems it connects to. Ask Vyne Dental to confirm your PMS and what data writes back to it.
Does Vyne Dental sign a BAA?
The saved pages don’t say. Vyne Dental’s privacy policy is about information collected through the website, phone, chat and support, and doesn’t mention HIPAA, patient health information or a BAA. Ask for the BAA before patient data moves.
Is Vyne Dental FDA cleared?
No FDA listing was found under Vyne Dental’s name in the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases, searched October 19, 2026. The saved Vyne Dental pages don’t mention the FDA.
How this review was put together
We didn’t use Vyne Dental or Vyne Trellis ourselves. This review is built from Vyne Dental’s home, partners and dental plans pages and its privacy policy, plus a search of the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases, all checked on October 19, 2026. We also saved the vynedental.com/partners-2024 address, which returned a “Page not found” page that day, so we used nothing from it.
We found no independent user reviews of Vyne Dental in our data, so there are no pros or cons from users here. The customer quotes we mention appear on Vyne Dental’s own pages, chosen by the vendor. We didn’t search for published studies. Vyne Dental’s Vyne Trellis, payer list, API detail and terms pages weren’t among the pages we saved.
