Denti.AI Scribe is Denti.AI Technology Inc.’s AI scribe that records the conversation between a clinician and a patient, transcribes it and drafts a clinical note from a template the practice sets up. The vendor sells it inside its OneStop Clinical plan, which also includes voice perio charting and X-ray analysis, for $399 a month or $3,990 a year (checked October 19, 2026). Denti.AI says notes are easy to edit and review and can be saved directly into the PMS.
Quick verdict
Denti.AI Scribe suits a practice on one of the PMSs Denti.AI names, such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental or Curve Dental, that wants AI-drafted notes and voice perio charting from one vendor at a public price. The evidence behind it is thin. Capterra lists only eight reviews, most of them marked incentivized, and a few are about perio charting rather than notes.
Before you sign, ask three things. Will Denti.AI sign a business associate agreement (BAA)? Denti.AI says the product is HIPAA-compliant, but its saved pages don’t mention one. Which features work with your PMS, since the pricing page says some depend on it? And how does the scribe handle stray audio and tooth numbers? One reviewer says the AI sometimes gets a tooth number wrong, and another says some recordings had nothing to do with the appointment.

What is Denti.AI Scribe?
During a visit, Denti.AI Scribe records what the clinician and patient say, transcribes it as they talk and turns it into a clinical note that follows the practice’s own templates. Denti.AI describes it as an “AI-powered assistant designed to record conversations between clinicians and patients”. Denti.AI says the notes are easy to edit and review and can be saved straight into the PMS. The saved pages don’t say whether a clinician signs off on a note before it reaches the patient record.
Scribe is one of four Denti.AI products. Voice Perio charts periodontal measurements by voice, Detect analyzes X-rays and Auto-Chart charts existing restorations and missing teeth. Denti.AI sells Scribe and Voice Perio together as “OneStop Clinical”, and its menu also lists a Voice Assistant iOS app and a Denti.AI Wireless Microphone. The saved pages don’t describe either of those two.
On language, Denti.AI says Scribe supports more than 20 languages, including Spanish, and translates them into English for the note. The vendor says the PMS integration saves notes and perio charts straight to the patient record, with nothing to install on your server. Its marketing also claims practices save up to 2 hours a day on notes and perio charting; that is the vendor’s figure, and no study in our sources tests it.
Two customer quotes on Denti.AI’s own site add detail the product copy doesn’t. A dentist credits Scribe’s “ambient listening mode to record during the appointment”, and the same dentist praises “the complete granular control over the templates and the prompts”. Those are testimonials the vendor chose to publish.
Key features
Denti.AI Scribe’s main features, as Denti.AI lists them on its home and pricing pages, are conversation capture, template-based notes, note editing and review, PMS saving and multilingual input. The pricing page bundles them with voice perio charting, X-ray analysis and Auto-Chart in the OneStop Clinical plan:
- Capture: records and transcribes the patient-to-provider conversation in real time
- Notes: AI-generated notes and summaries that follow custom templates; the pricing page lists “Pre-built + custom templates”
- Review: notes that the vendor says are easy to edit and review
- PMS: notes can be saved directly into the PMS; Denti.AI names Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Denticon, CareStack, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, ClearDent, ABELDent, Curve Dental and Oryx
- Languages: more than 20, including Spanish, translated into English
- Other documents: referral letters and oral health summaries (pricing page)
- In the same plan: AI voice perio charting, FMX and panoramic X-ray analysis and Auto-Chart of restorative work “for supported PMS”, plus coaching
- OneStop Clinical + adds custom dashboards and unlimited installs within one location
Denti.AI Scribe vs. what a clinical notes tool should have
Denti.AI Scribe’s pages list three of the five must-haves on our clinical notes checklist: capture, template notes and PMS saving. Review is partial, because the pages say notes are easy to edit and review but not whether that happens before a note reaches the PMS; ask in a demo whether notes wait for sign-off before they reach the chart. Security is partial, because the vendor calls the product HIPAA-compliant without mentioning a BAA. The biggest gap is evidence: no study naming Scribe is in our sources.

| Captures the visit conversation or dictation and transcribes it | Listed | Real-time transcription of the patient-to-provider conversation |

| Saves the note into the PMS | Listed | Ten PMSs named; the pricing page says some features depend on your PMS |

FDA status and privacy
Denti.AI Scribe has no FDA listing: we searched the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases on October 19, 2026 and found none for the scribe. Denti.AI says the scribe is “Secure and HIPAA-compliant”, but none of the saved pages mention a BAA, and the privacy policy says voice data may be used to improve its services.
The FDA search used openFDA’s 510(k) and PMA device databases, with the vendor as applicant and “Denti.AI Scribe” as the device name. Denti.AI’s site says two of its other products, Detect (X-ray analysis) and Auto-Chart, are FDA-cleared, and the pricing page lists “FDA-cleared” among the badges under its plans. Those claims are about the imaging products, not the scribe, and aren’t assessed here.
On privacy, the home page lists the scribe as “Secure and HIPAA-compliant”, and the pricing page lists “HIPAA-compliant” among plan features. Those are the vendor’s statements. We found no security page, certification or BAA in the saved sources.
Denti.AI’s privacy policy, last updated March 26, 2026, covers the website and the Denti.AI Voice Assistant. It says voice data “may include information such as audio recordings from the microphone” and that Denti.AI uses voice input to provide the service “and improve our services”. The policy also names Google Analytics, Datadog and Mixpanel as third-party services that collect usage information, and says data may be processed outside your state or country. The policy doesn’t say whether it covers patient recordings made with Scribe. Ask Denti.AI, in writing, whether it signs a BAA, where recordings and transcripts are stored, how long it keeps them and whether patient audio is used to train its models.
Pricing
Denti.AI Scribe is not priced on its own. It comes in OneStop Clinical at $399 a month billed monthly, or $3,990 a year billed annually, which the page shows as $333 a month, according to Denti.AI’s pricing page (checked October 19, 2026). OneStop Clinical + costs $599 a month, or $5,990 a year.
| Plan | Price | What the vendor lists |
|---|---|---|
| OneStop Clinical | $399/mo monthly; $3,990/yr annually (shown as $333/mo, “Save $798/yr”) | Up to 7 installs at one location, unlimited users; AI-generated dental notes, AI voice perio charting, FMX and panoramic X-ray analysis and Auto-Chart for supported PMS, oral health summaries, pre-built and custom templates, referral letters, coaching, PMS integration |
| OneStop Clinical + | $599/mo monthly; $5,990/yr annually (shown as $499/mo, “Save $1,198/yr”) | Everything in OneStop Clinical, plus custom dashboards and unlimited installs at one location, unlimited users |
| Multi-location DSO or custom setup | Pricing on request | Talk to sales |
Denti.AI says there is no setup fee, and its site advertises 10% off the first month. The pricing page marks the plans “Fair use applied” without explaining the limit, and says some features depend on your PMS. If you only want the scribe, ask whether a notes-only price exists, since the saved page doesn’t show one. Each plan covers one location, so a group with several offices goes to sales.
Pros (from user reviews)
Capterra reviewers praise Denti.AI for easy setup, helpful support staff and time saved on notes and charting. The sample is very small: eight reviews on Capterra’s Denti.AI Voice listing, written between March 2024 and June 2026. Only about half are about notes; the rest describe voice perio charting or the company in general.
- A few reviewers say Denti.AI helps with clinical notes. A dentist in April 2026 says it saves hours on clinical notes, referral reports and after-visit summaries, and another reviewer says it built on what the office already had as a baseline, so assistants find the details the doctor wants in the notes faster.
- Setup went smoothly for a few reviewers, and a few name support or onboarding staff who answered questions and got the system running quickly.
- A few call the software easy to use or easy to pick up after installation, though two of them are writing about perio charting by voice.
- A few say it saves time, on notes or on charting.
- Voice perio charting gets praise from a few hygienists. One says a full perio chart takes under 7 minutes, and another likes talking out loud instead of stopping to type measurements.
- Two mention the oral health report it produces for the patient, and one says the integration with Curve works well.
Cons (from user reviews)
Capterra reviewers report few complaints about Denti.AI, and a few list no real downside at all. The problems that do come up each appear once: a wrong tooth number, stray recordings, crosstalk during perio charting and a learning curve. In a sample this small, one review is one person’s experience, so treat each as something to ask about in a demo.
- The AI sometimes gets a tooth number wrong, says one office administrator, who adds that checking the notes fixes it and “should always be done regardless”.
- Some recordings don’t belong to the appointment and are tedious to sift through, according to one reviewer whose review isn’t marked as dental.
- During perio charting, one hygienist says, the software sometimes picks up someone else’s measurements when several people talk at once.
- One dentist mentions a learning curve, which they call negligible.
Capterra marks most of the eight reviews as incentivized, and all but one give 5 stars. Weigh the praise with that in mind.
Who it’s for
Denti.AI Scribe fits a dental practice that wants AI-drafted clinical notes and voice perio charting from one vendor and runs one of the PMSs Denti.AI names. Ask in a demo whether notes wait for sign-off before they reach the chart, since the saved pages don’t say. Practices that want a notes-only price, a signed BAA up front or published accuracy data should ask for them before booking a demo.
If you have hygienists who chart perio by hand, the bundle makes more sense, because Voice Perio is in the same plan and a few reviews are about it. If you run several offices, note that each plan covers one location. And if Spanish-speaking patients are a large part of your schedule, ask for a demo in Spanish, since the vendor says Scribe translates more than 20 languages into English but our sources don’t show how well.
FAQ
How much does Denti.AI Scribe cost?
Denti.AI Scribe comes in the OneStop Clinical plan at $399 a month billed monthly, or $3,990 a year billed annually, per Denti.AI’s pricing page on October 19, 2026. OneStop Clinical + costs $599 a month or $5,990 a year. The saved page doesn’t show a Scribe-only price, and multi-location groups get pricing on request.
Is Denti.AI Scribe FDA cleared?
No FDA listing for Denti.AI Scribe was found in the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases, searched October 19, 2026. Denti.AI says its separate imaging products, Detect and Auto-Chart, are FDA-cleared; those claims don’t cover the scribe.
Does Denti.AI Scribe work with Dentrix, Eaglesoft or Open Dental?
Yes, according to Denti.AI, which names Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Denticon, CareStack, ClearDent, ABELDent, Curve Dental and Oryx. The vendor says notes save straight to the patient record, but its pricing page says some features depend on your PMS. One Capterra reviewer reports using it with Curve.
Does Denti.AI sign a BAA?
Not stated on the saved pages. Denti.AI says the scribe is “Secure and HIPAA-compliant”, and its privacy policy says voice data may be used to improve its services. Ask for a signed BAA and the vendor’s answers on storage and retention before you record patients.
Do you still need to review the notes Denti.AI Scribe writes?
Denti.AI describes notes you can edit and review, and says they can be saved directly into the PMS; its saved pages don’t say whether notes wait for sign-off before they reach the chart, so ask in a demo and check against your own records policy. One Capterra reviewer says the AI sometimes gets a tooth number wrong and that notes should always be verified. No study in our sources measures how accurate the notes are.
What languages does Denti.AI Scribe support?
More than 20, including Spanish, according to Denti.AI, which says it translates them into English for the note. Our sources include no independent check of the translations, so ask for a demo in the languages your patients speak.
How this review was put together
We didn’t use Denti.AI Scribe ourselves. This review is built from Denti.AI’s home, pricing, PMS integrations and privacy policy pages, a search of the FDA’s 510(k) and PMA databases, and all eight reviews on Capterra’s Denti.AI Voice listing, written between March 28, 2024 and June 22, 2026. That listing covers the Denti.AI product family, so a few reviews are about voice perio charting, and we say so where it matters. We did not search PubMed for this tool. We counted review themes only where a review states the point. All sources were checked on October 19, 2026.
